Prince Armstong on the Tour de Nancy's Bedroom.

Here is a little project I've been working on.

Susan Cameron asked me to do some drawings of her parents , Ross and Glenda's, childhood homes. She sent me a photo and a photocopy, both not very good. I decided to scan them and fix them up in Photoshop and then I fooled around for quite awhile with different Photoshop techniques. I ended up using a technique that used a watercolor type brush. Laying down the brush strokes was surprisingly allot like real watercolor. I had to be percise and plan what I was doing. I had to erase and start again many times. I finished by printing them on watercolor paper. I'm quite pleased with the results. Here are the before and after images.

Prince.

Taken with my new Canon 50mm/1.8 lens. This shot was taken at 1/40 at f1.8. Not bad for a cheap ( compaired to most) lens.

This is Pumpkin, my friend Alex's cat. You can see what he thinks of me!!

These are a couple of the kids I volunteer with On Tuesday nights at the Boys and girls Club. Verasi and Keashan are eating a gooey chocolate blob that they made. Yummm...oh my teeth hurt!!!
Verasi wanted to try my camera so she took a picture of the two of us.

It's Nemo and his Dad!!! No it's two imposters in the fish tank at my friends house.

More creatures from the sea. That's a crazy red shrimp, I think, in the back.

Last night I went down to the Ottawa River close to my house. Lots of people gather in this spot to look at rock sculptures in the water and to enjoy the sunset.
People relaxing in the early evening down by the river.

Little girl feeding the geese and ducks.

Canada geese hanging around someones little work of art.

My tomatoes. Learning some of the settings. B&W. I cropped it in PS.

The sharpest shot of Prince so far. He's hard to focus on. Available light, no editing. His fur's a bit pink.
Available light, no editing.
Another B&W. I edited this in PS a bit as well.

These are the first few images taken with my new Canon EOS Rebel XT with a 24-85mm lens.
